The Early Childcare Education program is a two-year course for CTE students who are interested in working with children. This program is an exploration of all aspects of child growth and development from birth through age twelve. Students will engage in rigorous coursework to include theories of child development, psychology, and sociology, as well as develop skills and knowledge in health and safety, child growth and development, guidance, discipline, social and emotional growth, cognitive development, and curriculum development.
