Day Two Outdoor Leadership & Skills students used the Kennebec River as their classroom this week. Their instructor Mr. Houston uses the river and it’s rapids to teach them canoe paddling techniques, they include eddy turns, peel outs, surfing and ferries. These skills will help the students reach their goal to become certified “Class II Whitewater Canoe Paddlers”.

There will be representatives from Colleges, Businesses as well as the Military in attendance Friday, October 21st, 2016. On Tuesday, October 11, 2016, Students from our Early Childhood, Co-Op, Health Care Careers and Pre-Engineering programs toured the University of Maine at Orono.
