Skowhegan-Madison Elks Scholarship
Franklin Savings Bank
Awarded to a senior who will be entering an accredited certification program or pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree from a technical/postsecondary vocational school, college or university. 4 scholarships will be awarded totaling up to $12,000
Competitive Skills Scholarship Program
Due: Based off number of applications- Apply asap
Up to: $6,000 per year for a full time student, or $3,000 per year for a part time student.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old or have graduated from High School
- Live in Maine
- Seeking a degree or credential for a job in a high wage, in demand occupation
- Do not have a marketable post-secondary degree
- Have household income of less than 200% of the federal poverty level
- Have the ability to complete the education or training program

2021 -2022 Porch Skilled Trade & Technology Scholarships
Due March 31, 2022.
$2,000 scholarship from Porch.
- You must be 18 years or over and currently be enrolled as a high school senior, or in a community college, undergraduate, graduate, technical college, or vocational program, or be planning to enroll in a high school, community college, undergraduate, graduate, technical college, or vocational program during the 2021-2022 academic program in the United States.
- You must have a minimum 3.4 GPA.
- You must be pursuing a degree that enables you or others in your community to learn a new trade, develop skills and technology, or start a small business related to home services offered by Porch.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program

We will be awarding up to $1,000 to the winner(s) each year. The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution.

WBRC Architects Engineers $1,000 Centennial Scholarship Award.

Maine high school graduating seniors. This award is for students entering a post-secondary architecture or engineering (civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical) program.

The Mitchell Scholarship
Due by midnight on April 1, 2022
The 2020 recipients of the Mitchell Scholarship, representing more than 130 high schools from every community in Maine, each will receive a scholarship award for $10,000 to be paid in four equal installments of $2,500. In an effort to help more Maine students attain higher education, the Mitchell Institute provides scholarships for Maine students planning to attend two- and four-year degree programs at colleges both in- and out-of-state.

Uncle Al Scholarship Fund
The Uncle Al Fund was established to support further instructions or the musical development of musicians who are seeking to expand both their understanding of and skill level on their chosen instrument(s). Preference will be shown to musicians who play acoustic instruments, including “voice,” and live in Franklin or Somerset counties.
