The Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Program is a hands-on training course designed for students interested in careers in commercial transportation.  This program provides students with the foundational knowledge, skills, and certifications needed to begin a career as a professional truck or bus driver.

Key Features:

  • Classroom Instruction: Students learn about transportation regulations, safety procedures, vehicle maintenance, trip planning, and logbook documentation.

  • Behind-the-Wheel Training: Under the guidance of certified instructors, students practice driving commercial vehicles, learning to maneuver, back up, and operate in different traffic conditions.

  • CDL Permit and License Preparation: The program prepares students for the CDL written permit test through DMV-aligned curriculum and practice exams.

  • Hands-on Vehicle Maintenance: Students gain exposure to basic vehicle inspections and maintenance procedures.

Certifications & Outcomes:

  • CDL Class A or B Drivers License
